MERESHA // "LOOK HOW FAR"

Hi.  Meresha here.  Welcome.  Thrilled you have come by.  Really.   I’ve been making music since I was 12 when I wrote “Fool Don’t Be”.  When I was 16, I bought music studio software and learned how to produce, and soon put out some tunes.   I’ve been working to be a better artist daily.  Have since had the luck to work with Grammy winners as well as many upcoming artists.  I’ve most enjoyed playing live, no matter if smaller venues or huge festivals.  Can’t wait to be out again.  

My new “Look How Far” album takes a journey through the music I’ve created so far.  It includes new songs as well as songs that were Top 40 on Billboard charts, on Ariana Grande's personal playlist and MTV.  Hope my music connects with you, and helps you get through these sometimes crazy days.

Meresha Bio

(❁´◡`❁)(musical) artist & alien luver.   

Meresha is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer with a deep, wide-ranging soulful voice and a quirky sonic vision.  She is an #AlienPop innovator; so far the first in the genre.  "Alien Pop" is like pop, but somehow also out of this world.   Fully independent, Meresha's music has been streamed over 10 million times.

Her 2019 single "Jungle Potion" went viral hitting a million streams in a few weeks, including while on Ariana Grande's official personal playlist. Meresha debuted it live at New York's largest music festival Gov Ball in partnership with Citibank and Live Nation.   

Late 2019, Meresha released a Bob Marley tribute with her version of "Is This Love" in partnership with Movember, the leading international charity supporting men's health.  

Meresha released "Hold" in 2020, which quickly went viral on TikTok, and for which 100 fans & friends contributed to a music video.  "Hold" was featured on Tidal's Rising Pop playlist.  She performed it live online in partnership with Live Nation's House of Blues Music Forward Foundation.  

AllMusic named Meresha's EP "Enter the Dreamland" one of the Top 20 Albums of the year globally (Pop).  Meresha collaborated on the album with Grammy winners Joe Chiccarelli and Emily Lazar. The video for the lead song won the Music California Viewers' Choice Award. Meresha debuted the EP for 40,000 at SunFest, sharing the stage with Marshmello and Jon Bellion.   Enter the Dreamland was featured in the #1 spot on Napster's Indie Pop playlist.  

Meresha made Billboard charts several times, was the #1 indie artist on US radio for a month and had her music featured on TV internationally, including on MTV where she was selected a a winner in their music "Freshman" competition.   

As an influencer, Meresha has worked with brands such as Adobe and Crocs as well as artists such as Marshmello.  She also contributes to the music of others as a producer, songwriter, instrumentalist and vocalist, including through Spotify's SoundBetter.
